Merino Family Fire Assistance

Donation protected

On the afternoon of Sunday July 28, a fire destroyed the Merino home. Jerry and his wife were out at the time and their young daughter, Ruby was being watched by Jerry's brothers Ronnie and Luige. They noticed a smoke smell and found a fire burning in the garage. They tried to do what they could to put it out but it was already too big and out of control. They were able to get Ruby and safely evacuate the home so luckily nobody was harmed. However the house and all of their belongings are a total loss and the cause is still under investigation. They are fortunate enough to have family in the area to stay with and have began the process of working with their insurance company but that process is going to be difficult and time consuming not to mention that there is only so much that can be replaced. They lost all of their possessions to the fire and water damage even including personal documents and identification as their wallets were left inside. The goal of this campaign is to help raise funds to assist the Merino family getting through this tough time. They will be having unknown expenses just trying to replace the daily essentials like clothing, housewares, kids items, as well as to help cover some of the things that insurance just can't make up for.
