Merle Voeller

On September 4, 2023 we lost our beloved friend and coworker. Merle lost his battle with stomach cancer and our hearts are broken. Many of us will remember him for his quick whit, his warm smile, and his compassionate heart. Merle was a family member to many of us working at the Pima County Adult Detention Complex and a huge part of our team. His presence will be greatly missed including hearing about his love for his motorcycle and collection of antiques and radio scanner stories. I’m sure he’s spending unlimited amount of time riding the streets of heaven on his motorcycle. He was an amazing nurse who provided heartfelt care for decades. Merle was a good man and a great aspect to our team, he will be missed, may he now rest in peace. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol who is experiencing tremendous hardship in wake of his passing. We humbly ask for a donation if you are able, for memorial service and to help his wife get back on her feet.
