It’s with sadness to say my mums home was lost today with a terrible house fire. She is safe and well most importantly of course but the devastation of losing your home you love and seeing all those memories and your belongings now gone is heartbreaking.
We all know most things can be replaced and while the things we can’t replace stay in our memory.
Unfortunately mum didn’t have any contents insurance so any donations would to help her would be greatly appreciated.
She will be looking to settle into a new home as soon as she can so if anyone knows of any granny flats for rent on the Gold Coast we would love to hear from you. Not the best time to look for a rental but fingers crossed. She loved her home and it’s so sad but I know she will find another place to call home soon.
