Merlin’s Great Dane Size Vet Bill

Last weekend, while enjoying some birthday snacks, Merlin took it upon himself to steal more than his share of sausages which resulted in every deep chested dog owner’s worst nightmare…. Bloat.

Upon realizing the gravity of the situation, Naomi rushed her precious fur baby to the emergency vet clinic. She knew a big decision needed to be made shortly, but to her (and most of us with fur kids) the only option was to do whatever possible to save Merlin’s life.

Merlin had only a 50 percent chance of survival; Naomi crossed her fingers and toes and sent her boy to have a gastroplexy knowing full well that might have been their last goodbye.

By the grace of all things holy and the advancements in veterinary medicine, Merlin’s surgery was a success and Naomi was able to bring him home to the pack the next evening.

On a personal note, Naomi has taken amazing care of my horses over the years and has been a teacher, mentor, and generally great friend. Please help me help her and her family by raising money to help pay the Great Dane size vet bill associated with Merlin’s life saving surgery.
