About
Vanessa Hernández Cruz is a Chicana Disabled dance artist seeking to bring together Disability & contemporary dance into the Los Angeles dance ecosystem.
Her new evening-length work explores vulnerability fatigue as a Disabled Chicana woman & how medical equipment has been a form of freedom, survival and assimilation in this inaccessible world. Vanessa will be utilizing her visual artwork & poetry for this performance.
This is the first time Vanessa will be performing at a Summer Dance Festival in Los Angeles! Your contribution will help bring this work to life and will amplify a multi-marginalized Disabled dance artist!
