Lift van fundraiser

Hi, my name is Liz and I, along with my sister Susan, am going to try to raise funds for my mom Barb, for her recent diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer.

My mom does not know I'm doing this. She would probably be really unhappy or embarrassed, in fact, but we had talked about it before. She didn't want people to think she was begging. Well I'm here to tell you that WE are the ones begging. My mom would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. She's the most kind and gracious person I know. When she was struck with the breast cancer diagnosis, she didn't blink. She was in for a fight and fighting is what she's doing. The initial BC diagnosis was curable, but now that we know it has metastasized to her bone, it has now become incurable, but it's still treatable!

Her out of pocket fees are tremendous and she lives on a budget that's already hard to live off of, and now she is starting to have these bills coming in and I really hope that doing this will help her not worry and stress so much about finances so she can really focus on getting better and treating this awful disease. It's likely that she will be on some sort of chemotherapy treatment for the rest of her life.

My mama has a lot of friends and I know so many people have asked what they can do to help. Well, this is it. If you feel led to donate to help her financially, please please do so. She is so humble, but I know she will be forever grateful for the help. Susan and I will also be forever grateful.
