The Metroka Family has been in the Magalia/Paradise area for as long as I can remember. We were devastated by the Camp Fire burning in California on Thursday 11/8/2018. As a whole, we have lost multiple homes and businesses. Thankfully everyone is safe and accounted for but most were unable to grab necessary clothing, toiletries and everyday items.
We are hoping to gather funds to help cover the cost of these items. There are a lot of donations coming from the surrounding towns, but with so many people effected by this fire it is difficult to get back into the area and to these donation sites.
Even the smallest donation can help. They are in need of basic items and a little can go a long way. Insurance payments will take months to process and it will be a long road to rebuild the community. Hopefully, this will help that healing process begin.


**I am (Gordon) Sean Metroka’s daughter. The Metroka family has lived in the Paradise/Magalia area for many years, it is home to the Metroka family. My grandmother, aunt and uncle, a second uncle and a close family friend have lost their homes. In addition, if fire containment fails my cousin and a third aunt and uncle’s homes may be in danger.
All donations will go directly to Sean Metroka to disperse to his mother, brother and sister-in-law, brother-in-law and family friend. Should the fire spread, this will include his nephew and niece-in-law and his sister and brother-in-law.
