Metropolis Cares for W. KY Tornado Victims

Due to the recent catastrophic tornado that ripped through West KY, many victims have been displaced and are now staying in hotels in Metropolis, IL. In reaching out to the hotels, we have found that many of the victims did not have insurance and were renting their places of residence. They are now responsible for all their hotel charges.

In order to ensure these victims are not removed from their hotels due to lack of payment, we are setting up this fund for people to donate to in order to cover lodging expenses.

The fund will be overseen by the Greater Metropolis Convention and Visitors Bureau. If you have any questions please contact:
