My UNICEF Grand Tour
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Anthony Knight, an 18-year-old violinist, seeking sponsorship for my UNICEF Grand Tour. I've successfully completed a 13,500 mile concert tour of the most exclusive hotels in Europe, visiting twelve countries in one year, to raise funds for UNICEF. The afternoon recitals featured pieces by Telemann and Bach and I invited guests to make a donation at unicef.org.
My next challenge is to perform in 20 Cathedrals across Europe in one year...
On Saturday 5th August 2023, I performed a recital in the Lobby Lounge of the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Berlin and was greatly appreciated by the guests.

On Thursday 24th August 2023, I performed a recital in the Lobby Lounge of The Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera, where the manager had invited all his staff to attend. Camille Fidele, Deputy Director of Sales messaged: 'The Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera team is grateful for the beautiful musical moment you have offered us last week. We wish Anthony a very successful future!'

On Wednesday 25th October 2023, I performed in the Lobby Bar of Albergo Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo, San Marco, one of the oldest hotels in Venice, dating from 1308. As you can see, it's situated right next to a gondola station! A clip of the Moderato from Telemann's Fantasia no. 12:
For the Baltic leg of my Tour, I performed in the Lobby Lounge of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga on Monday 11th December 2023 and the Lobby Lounge of Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius on Thursday 14th December.

Don’t miss this chance to experience his beautiful violin playing up close and let his exquisite interpretations sweep you away.'

When I started my sponsored UNICEF Grand Tour, I was 17 years old, so not old enough to transfer funds. The minimum age is 18.
Instead I'm using my Dad's (Paul Knight) bank account to transfer funds.
Some of these funds are being used to pay for the expenses of my sponsored UNICEF Grand Tour.
The surplus will be sent by my Dad to https://www.unicef.org.uk/donate/
