Hey there! My name is Stephanie Enciso and in 26 days I will be turning 26 years old!This year I would like to do something different and help raise funds for the kids of Ensenada and Tecate Mexico! My goal with this project is to raise 100 dollars for each year of my age which equals 2,600 dollars! Each and every child I have met has stretched my heart and taught me so much about love and resilience! So for my 26th birthday I would like to celebrate each and every one of their beautiful souls and bring smiles to them! My hope for us as a community is to give with intention.. to give knowing that what we can provide will bring opportunities for our amigitos of Mexico. I ask that you may donate whatever your heart is calling you to give! Together we can do so much more than we can ever do alone!
*For those of you still reading this… here is a little background to these two projects!
Ensenada: Last year I was blessed to be a part of my first mission trip through Mosaic, where we got to provide children/ families from Ensenada, with medical/dental treatment, conduct construction projects, and kids programs. Later that year I went back to serve for the Christmas trip where we got to take toys and watch each child open gifts with SO much joy!
Through these funds raised by this Go Fund Me, kids of Ensenada would benefit from back packs and school supplies. Their circumstances are difficult but we have an opportunity to provide them with tools to help them flourish in school!
Tecate: I also had the privilege to volunteer my time as an English Instructor in Villa Del Campo, Tecate, Mexico on weekends. I was able to work with my middle school music teacher, Mr. Wakefield who began a music program in Mexico. Mr. Wakefield has been able to take students to Hawaii to perform for the Childrens Hospital and is striving to take them to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall. He has helped individuals find healing through music in the midst of difficult times and circumstances.
I would like to help more children of Tecate experience love and healing! These funds will help with the purchase of instruments and sponsorship for 11 more Via Del Campo kids to join the North Park Band to New York City to perform in Carnegie Hall, the worlds greatest concert stage!
