Help for Mom and Dad

Hello everyone,

It's very unfortunate and not what we wish to resort to, but for those who know, you know. And those who don't, our Dad Graham Lonsdale has just been diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. This is the type that comes up suddenly and aggressively.

We are thankful the Dr's caught it and were able to get him to Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto in time to save him.

Sunnybrook has been very fast paced in moving along and getting him ready for treatment.

He has undergone many many tests and scans since Thursday when he got there, he's had CT's, MRI, Echos, blood and platelet transfusions, he is having a picc line put in and hopefully starting chemo treatment in the next day or 2.

This treatment will require him to stay at Sunnybrook for 4 straight weeks, followed by 2-3 months of 2-3 times a week.

Being that our family is from Muskoka (3 hour drive) and our Mom already has medical complications that make the travel incredibly hard, we are doing this fundraiser for funds to go towards:

- COMFORTS FOR DAD

-ACCOMMODATION FOR MOM (as these trips back and forth are not realistic with her health)

We have also exhausted all information and resources finding places close enough to Sunnybrook for Mom and within reasonable Uber distances) (THE BEST AIR BNB OPTION IS STILL $6000 FOR 4 WEEKS)

-UBER RIDE FARES

-MEALS FOR MOM WHILE AWAY

-FUNDS TO HELP MAKEUP FOR LOSS OF INCOME
