MFA: The Terminal Degree (the movie)

In 2022, Kevin Carey and RG Evans wrote a comic-horror farce set in the world of higher education - MFA: A Terminal Degree. In May of 2024, after teaming up with director Peter Sampieri, they will be shooting the film which is about four ambitious young poets who agree to a remote residency where the cut-throat business of writing spins out of control.

Through a generous grant from Salem State University they have secured a location (St. Marguerite's Retreat House in Mendham, New Jersey) and have paid for the necessary rental equipment needed for the shoot. They are now are seeking to raise $4600 to compensate the actors.

All will be invited and recognized at a screening in Salem, MA, tentatively scheduled for the fall of '24.
