Sue Sivess Franks, my good friend, the person responsible for my love of oncology, a woman strong enough to continue nursing school while undergoing treatment for breast cancer and who continues to this day to care for Veterans with cancer has been dealt a HUGE blow: Her husband, Michael Franks, was diagnosed with Stage III multiple myeloma.  Mike needs a stem cell transplant and WE can help!
