HELP ME! KIM'S MINISTERIAL ED FUND
Donation protected
Friends, family and colleagues in ministry,
If you know me well you know that I am not good at asking for help. But today I have to. As you may or may not know almost 4 years ago I left the security of my school counseling career, my friends and family in Las Vegas to obediently follow my calling to ministry. It has been quite an amazing journey and I’m thankful for my experiences thus far.
While I am 90% of the way to earning my Master of Divinity (MDiv.) at the Iliff School of Theology, today with one quarter of school left I have just learned of a $6000 funding shortfall for my final Spring Quarter. While you know I believe in the power of prayer, I also believe in the power of my community. Please help me reach my goal.
With your help I can complete my goal of earning my MDiv which will (God willing) lead to my ordination in the United Methodist Church. I have enjoyed working with and getting know each of you through my involvement in the communities of Park Hill UMC, Zion UMC, the Spiritual Projects, the Iliff School of Theology, the Desert Southwest Conference and the Reconciling Ministries Network. I hope in those arenas I have proved myself to be someone worthy of servant ministry.
Please help me reach my goal with your donation of any amount, no matter how large or small. For those of you who you can’t give financially I simply ask your prayers and words of encouragement. The Spring Quarter begins on March 21st and all final payments must by recieved by April 30th. Checks must be made out on behalf of Kimberly Scott to the Iliff School of Theology. 2323 E. Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80210 Attentions: Financial Aid Office.
Thank you and God Bless
