Delia Vazquez

Hi, my name is Tanya and I am raising funds to help offset funeral expenses from the passing of my mother Delia Vazquez. Delia was a single mother born and raised in Spanish Harlem, el Barrio, from Puerto Rican parents that migrated from Puerto Rico to make a better life for themselves and start a family. My Mom did the same thing raising me and my only brother and she provided a great life for us. She worked hard to give us everything we needed and wanted. She spoiled us! She was a great cook and threw the best parties! She was beautiful and had the bluest eyes! She knew how to uplift your spirits and make you laugh. She was very independent. She did not play with our education and I’m grateful to that. She was the best Grandma ever, they were more spoiled than me! She was my Queen, my rock, my world, my everything! She got kidney failure and ended up on dialysis. The years on dialysis took a toll on her body and eventually the roles reversed and I had to take care of her. She was strong and a fighter and I’m grateful for everyday that God blessed me with her but God called her back on the morning of 8/28. I am broken and trying to keep the pieces together for myself and my children. Any contribution that your heart feels will be greatly appreciated to help offsets are expenses during this difficult time.
