MGA u12’s Welsh Team fundraiser

As some of our friends & family are aware on the 23rd march 2024 MGA held their u12’s Welsh trials to any members in that age category with hopes of riding for their country in france at the European championships and the home internationals. 13 contenders took part in the trials and it was a very tough day for all the children…. And parents!

The selected Welsh squad members are:

We are now onto our fundraising and team bonding activities to help give these kids & their ponies the BEST experience possible as by god do they deserve it! Any funding we receive will help towards transportation of the pony’s over to France, kit, goody bags per child/pony etc.

The children & parents will be taking part in a WELSH IRON MAN KIDS 2024 a fundraising activity where they will be travelling the equivalent miles from dover ferry port to Calais ferry port which is around 30 nautical miles. The way the children will cover these miles will be by hiking pen y fan, cycling & swimming. As you can imagine this will be quite a challenge for young ones but something they are committed to to help raise funds. All progress and mileage count will be recorded and shared amongst our Facebook page.

We will also be hosting auctions, selling number & , helping out at future shows to try and raise as much of the funds needed for these kids & ponies to have the best experience.

We will also be setting up a go fund me page for any of our lovely fb friends/family to be able to donate with ease online. Sponsorship packages are going to be available also so any businesses big or small keep your eyes peeled. All our activities & things we are getting up to will be posted on our Facebook page!
