rehab for Richie

My name is Richard,
I have being a volunteer fire fighter for 18yrs with the sacfs. Doing what I love helping others in need all over Australia.
On the 29th of November I came off my motorbike whilst out riding with a friend. It was a slow speed accident, I fell only about 2 metres from my bike but landed down a small ditch on some rocks. I fractured my vertebrae around t6-7 and bruised my spinal cord and therefore losing movement and feeling below the belly button level. I was flown to Adelaide for surgery and i am now in the rehab centre, where I have being for about 2 months. I have made small progress but still no movement just some light touch sensation below the level. 
I am currently looking at further more intense rehab which is offered interstate as nothing is offered in SA as good or intense. I am keeping positive and hoping more intense rehab will get my legs moving so I can get back on the fire truck and out doing what I love (helping others in need).
As the extra rehab is not covered by any medical or insurance I have to cover all the costs myself. This includes travel interstate, accommodation cost and then the rehab itself.
