Hope for Noah
Donation protected
On March 8th, William (Joe) Elmhorst & Jill Elmhorst received news from China informing them that their son Noah was in the hospital with little hope of survival.
Noah's Story
Noah, William & Jill's recently married, 26 year-old son, who journeyed to China after college to teach, has been diagnosed with two brain tumors and bleeding on the brain.
Five years ago, while in college at UW Madison, Noah was diagnosed with Sarcoma, a cancer with a very low survival rate. At that time, he underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatment while completing college. He seemed to be cancer free, until now.
William & Jill have been informed by Noah's doctor in China that he may have little chance of surviving the surgery to remove the tumors. Due to swelling on the brain, Noah cannot travel back to the states for treatment and his only hope for survival is having surgery in China.
Noah's immediate family would like to travel to China to see him, possibly for the last time. In addition, the hospital requires approximately $30,000 up front in order to even proceed with treatment.
Of the Go Fund Me donations, the first $5,000 will provide the funds needed for Noah's immediate family's travel to China. The remaining $30,000 will allow the hospital to proceed with treatment in the hopes that Noah will be able to enjoy life with his new wife, Ming Yan.
Noah's Hope
Some of the family will be leaving for China this coming Sunday, March 13th. The initial goal of $5,000 is needed immediately for their travels. The $30,000 goal for Noah's surgery will be needed within days.
All donations are greatly appreciated and will give Noah and his family hope for the future.
