Humanitarian Support For a Palestinian Family in Gaza

Hello, my name is Mahmoud Almassri, a student from Gaza, currently living in Scotland. I am managing this campaign on behalf of my family in Gaza, who have lost everything but are trying to survive and rebuild their lives.

Our family has endured unimaginable loss. We lost my brother Mohammed who was killed in the war, along with many other beloved ones. Our home was also destroyed, forcing my parents and seven siblings into 15 months of displacement, moving from one unsafe shelter to another. Now, with nowhere else to go, they have returned to the rubble of what was once our home, trying to piece their lives back together.

Ibrahim, my brother, is carrying the weight of this tragedy on his shoulders, doing everything he can to help our family survive—including supporting our sister and her four young children: Joud (9), Heur (6), Mohammed (4), and Hamada, who was born during the war and is only 10 months old. These children have known nothing but fear, hunger, and cold. They lack proper nutrition, medicine, and warmth, and their fragile bodies are struggling against the harsh conditions they face every day.

As Ibrahim wrote, "The war has taken everything from us. It destroyed our home, stole our loved ones, and left us without shelter or food. Our little ones cry from hunger, weakened by cold and illness. I am doing everything I can to provide for them, but I cannot do this alone. Please help me give my family a chance to survive and have a decent life."

My brother Ibrahim stands among these ruins, not just as a witness to this devastation but as a voice for our family, doing everything he can to help them survive. With basic necessities scarce and unaffordable, they are struggling every day to secure water, food, and medicine. The situation is dire, and they need urgent support to make it through this crisis and begin rebuilding their lives.
