We were devastated to share that Javier passed away on Friday, July 6. His death was sudden and unexpected. It was never anticipated that a visit to the hospital for cold like symptoms would lead to a catastrophic infection that progressed so quickly. 

Javier was hired on June 8th 2016, as a Luggage Attendant for the Mondrian South Beach property. He was an amazing family man that always put his family first. He was a loving and respectful husband to his wife Jessica, and an exemplary father to his two wonderful children, seven-year-old Mathyaus and five-year-old Ximena. Javier was a wonderful friend and co-worker who was loved and admired by all. He was a loyal and sincere man that always had a positive attitude.
