Help Phoebe Rose Fight Leukemia

Phoebe Rose. She has been battling cancer almost her entire life. She is four and a half years old.
At just nine weeks of age, Phoebe was diagnosed with a rare and difficult-to-cure type of leukemia. She and her family – parents Jon and Jenny and big sister Mae – were instantly thrown into a world of hospitals, medications, and surgeries, in search of a cure. Their journey has taken them from their home in Ottawa to Toronto, Denver and Memphis to participate in innovative drug trials and novel stem cell treatments. She has been in and out of remission several times, and has suffered four heart-breaking relapses of her disease.
Throughout her journey, Phoebe’s family has refused to give up on her. Jon and Jenny have fought hard to be listened to and to pursue these treatments. They have chosen hope. Phoebe herself has grown and thrived despite all that she has gone through; she is an inspiration to all those around her.
So far Jon, Jenny and Mae have managed to all be with Phoebe for every step of her battle. This has been a full-time commitment. The family is currently living in Memphis, Tennessee, where Phoebe is receiving treatment at St. Jude Hospital. The hope is that a third stem cell transplant can be done using her father’s stem cells. The timeline for their return home to Ottawa is not known. Money raised on this site will help support the family so that they can focus on what’s important – being with, and curing Phoebe Rose.
