Dova’s Emergency Vet Fund

Anyone close to me knows that my cat Dova is my son and best friend. I’ve had him for a year and a half now and everyday I look forward to him waiting for me at the door when I get home from work. Yesterday I took him to the vet after noticing him acting strange. The vet discovered that he has been living with undiagnosed diabetes and has keto acidosis, his organs have started to fail and he’s very close to dying. The next few days he’ll be fighting for his life as they try to figure out what triggered him entering a critical state while simultaneously working to flush the toxins out of his blood and regulate his blood sugar. On top of this I was hit with an $8700 bill that if I couldn’t pay they would send him home with me to die, which was not an option I’d even begin to consider. Unfortunately though, it has drained all of my savings and there is potential for extra charges to hit if it takes longer than expected for his recovery. I know the goal is lofty and I don’t expect to reach it, but any financial support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
