Mi Chantli, Arts and movement sanctuary.

Formerly known as Block 1750, this community space is now going through a new chapter with new owners, new name and new everything.

 

These are all beautiful transitions but just like all new beginnings we are going to need all the support we can get for this dream to come true. The goal has always been Community, cultivating art and creating a home for dancers, poets, artist and all creative minds. The new owners are going be Mario and Changa which is a big thing because this means that this is now officially a Chicano and Mexican own business. Movement and art are so important and places like this need to exist because giving artist a place to practice and grow their art is what save lives, or at least it's what saved ours.

 

Chantli is an aztec word for home and Mi Chantli es tu Chantli :)
