Mia - my Bat Mitzvah Sister
Donation protected
Mia and her family were stuck in a Bomb shelter/safe room for over 10 hours. Their home was burnt down. They lost everything.
My name is Blake Lee Rabinowitz. My Hebrew name is Lee which means mine. When a child is born, she belongs to her parents that brought her into this world. You are attached to me for always and forever.
For my Mitzvah project, I have chosen to donate part of my Bat Mitzvah gifts to a girl named Mia.
Mia was born on April 24 2012. Mia was meant to celebrate her Bat mitzvah next year.
Mia was raised in Kibbutz Aza, which WAS a beautiful place, filled with Fields, nature and an amazing community with high-level education.
On October 7, 2023, Mia and her family’s world was turned upside down. Mia lost everything that was normal, that was beautiful. That was safe. She lost her home and everything that she was familiar with. For this I am heartbroken.
Mia, sounds very similar to me. She is strong, smart, and is sensitive to situations.
Mia is creative and likes to think out the box. She like me loves to draw, paint, and sculpt, she loves art. Mia like me also enjoys nature, adventures, and travel.
Mia. Unlike me, does not know what her future is now. Mia does not have a home to go back to Mia does not have clothes, and she does not have a beautiful Bat mitzvah celebration to look forward to. Everything is Mia’s world right now is broken.
I would like to bring some light in this time of darkness to Mia.
It would fill my heart with sunshine and I ask that my family, friends and even strangers that are part of our bigger family donate and share my special Mitzvah project to everyone you know.
Let us together bring some light into this dark time in Mia’s life. I want to share love and goodness to Mia, my Bat Mitzvah sister!
Le Chaim. I thank you in advance for watching this and no amount is too small.
