Mia Pace’s recovery fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and extended community,
On October 31st, my sister Mia Pace, 19 years old, was in a devastating accident. She was struck by a car while crossing the street. She is in critical condition and has a long road ahead of recovery. Several procedures have been necessary to repair and recover.
This accident left Mia with both of her legs broken, her left arm broken along with her nose, she has broken her back, her bladder was ruptured, she has a lacerated spleen and liver, and a concussion. She had a spinal fusion surgery along with a bladder surgery. She got metal plates and screws put into her legs and left arm.
We are grateful that she is stable and alive, but this road to recovery will be a very hard time. She will need numerous physical therapy sessions, medical appointments, and potential additional surgeries/procedures.
The escalating medical costs will be very overwhelming. The financial strain will be high and insurance will not be able to cover all the costs, including surgeries, physical therapy, and medical equipment. In order to provide Mia with a full recovery, we could truly use all the help we can get.
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference in Mia's recovery. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this with others means the world to us and gets us closer to our goal.
Thank you.
