Mia Sgueglia

Mia Alicia Sgueglia sadly departed this world too soon on December 23, 2023. Mia grew up in East Longmeadow, MA where she lived happily with her family. She started dancing at age 3 and continued performing through her teenage years with The Artistic Dance Conservatory in East Longmeadow. In high school, she was captain of the cheerleading team and played tennis for the Spartans. She graduated East Longmeadow High School in 2014 before continuing her education at American International College. There, she was also a member of the cheerleading team as she earned her bachelor's degree and ultimately graduated with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2019. Mia put her education to use helping people through her job at Hampshire Regional School District.

Mia was well-loved by many who will miss her big hugs, laughter, and enthusiasm for living life to the fullest. She enjoyed time well spent with family and friends creating many memories of celebrations: graduations, engagements, weddings, babies, and recently becoming an auntie and Godmother.

In this difficult time, we are coming together to support Mia's family with the financial burden they now face. The funds raised will go towards funeral expenses and assisting the family as they navigate through this unimaginable loss.
