Mia to survive Breast Cancer.

Last Year I went in for my Mammogram. I was told that I had a suspicious tissue growing in my left breast. I was in the process of getting my setting up a new appointment to have a diagnostic mammogram. In that process I had made a total of 18 calls between my regular provider and the imaging center and another imaging center. My insurance was under a contract dispute with the center I had used. I was trying to get copies of my screening so they could look at it for another provider that had to look at it first to make me an appointment. In the meantime, I hadn't made it over to drop my screening at that center. I had gone into one of my providers that had done a tissue removal from another area. I told him the frustration I had with my current situation. He agreed to take look at my lump that was close to the surface of my breast. It was sent out for a biopsy, and it came back as a lipoma. A year later, I had gone to my primary care physician. He suggested I have another mammogram due to the suspicious findings on my last mammogram. I had felt my breast and I thought I was feeling scar tissue from the first removal. But there definitely was something there. I had made and appointment with the imaging center and they gave me a call to tell me how much it would cost for my procedure. It was the price of a car. That I certainly could not afford. Under the circumstances I chose to return to the doctor that had removed the first one. I went in and it was removed and sent out for the biopsy. I got a call on October 16th telling me that I have been diagnosed with Breast cancer. It turned out that the recent removal was on the top of the lump that remains in my breast. It was the tissue that grew and was the original lump hiding behind the one that was removed the year before. To top that off the hormone replacement, I had just started a few months before was fueling the growth of my lump and it has been there for a year and 8 months. In my ultrasound it has been measured to be 5.49 cm. I am at stage 2A.
I am struggling to meet my insurance deductibles. I now have my mastectomy scheduled for December 11, 2023. Because the timing it has pushed me to having to until the beginning of the year to have my 2nd surgery, provided that my pathology comes back in such, that I won't need to have chemo or radiation. If I do, I will have to be clear for 6 months. I must restart to meet the deductible for next year and how to pay to continue the coverage I currently hold.

I never really knew that 1 out of 8 women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It's me and I have Breast Cancer and I must beat it! I have two beautiful children that need their mom. I want to see them grow up.
I will forever be grateful for help you can provide. Please help me Survive my Breast Cancer.
