Miami Hoops 9th Select 3SSB Travel Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Coach Danny Diaz.

I’ve been coaching my son and his friends since they were just little kids—barely big enough to hold a basketball. What started as weekend practices in the park has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

A few years ago, I saw something that hit me hard: these boys had the drive, the talent, and the heart—but they weren’t getting the development they needed to thrive at the next level.

So, I did something about it.

I created a team called Caliber 3—a group of local boys from Dade and Broward who were hungry to improve. I poured in everything I had: my time, my energy, my knowledge. No pay, no staff, no fancy equipment—just passion, commitment, and belief in these kids.

And it paid off.

Every single one of them made their JV or Varsity high school team.

They worked hard, and they earned it.

But now… they’ve got an even bigger shot.

This year, our team has been invited to play on the Adidas 3SSB GOLD National Circuit—one of the most prestigious circuits in the country. Adidas is partially sponsoring us, but to stay in and earn full sponsorship, we have to prove ourselves this summer.

We’ve already made noise.

We just got back from a huge tournament in Lawrence, Kansas. The boys went toe-to-toe with top teams in the country—and held their own.

Now we have two more national tournaments to go:

➡️ Omaha, Nebraska

➡️ Rock Hill, South Carolina for 5 days at Nationals.

And here’s where we need you.

Many of these boys come from hardworking families that simply can’t afford the flights, hotels, and meals needed to compete at this level. But they deserve to be there.

They’ve put in the work. They’ve earned the opportunity.

Now we just need to get them there.

I’ve done all I can—and I’ll keep showing up for them every single day.

But I can’t do this part alone.
