Micah Simeon Hodges

As many of you know, Micah passed away in the early morning of Saturday, March 18. The cause is still unknown and will be for many weeks. Our hearts are both broken as he is no longer with us, and yet there is also relief that he is no longer suffering and at peace and with Christ God. He was our brother and my parents son in all the ways that mattered most. We look forward to sharing stories of him throughout this week. 

So then on behalf of our family, we want to thank everyone who has reached out, for all your prayers, concern, and all of the offers of support and love we have received during the last couple of days and in the coming days. 

Also we extend our respect and gratitude to Micah's group home family thru Benchmark- for the last three years they have loved him dearly, and we are so grateful to them for treating him like a son and brother and caring for him so well, even during his most difficult times. 

We have been able to work with some wonderful people and get the arrangements done for a Memorial, Funeral and Celebration of his life. 

So many of you have asked how you can help and so In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to his funeral expenses or if you’d prefer to The Center for Autism and Dyslexia here in Lima. As an adult on Medicaid he was only allowed to have a certain amount saved and with his death being so unexpected, we are only able to cover half of his funeral expenses.
