Micah's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On December 23rd, our dear friend Micah Ainsworth was in a horrible car accident. A car was trying to pass up a line of vehicles on 171 near Covington when they collided head on with Micah’s truck. Micah sustained many very serious but non life threatening injuries including: two broken femurs, 2 broken bones in his right forearm, a shattered left elbow, a fractured right mandible, lacerations of the spleen, a laceration penetrating all the way through his lower lip, and damage resulting in the partial removal of his small intestine, large intestine, and colon. Micah is very lucky to be here with us, but his recovery with be an extremely long and painful process. He will spend at least 2 weeks in the hospital for surgeries and then spend MONTHS trying to heal. Micah will be out of work indefinitely. We do not know how much, if any, the insurance will cover. We are asking for prayers of healing and a swift recovery! If anyone feels compelled to give financially it would help TREMENDOUSLY with both hospital and regular bills that are piling up right here at Christmas. Micah is such a sweet soul and has done so many things for us. We will continue to do anything we can to help him and his family during this extremely difficult time.
