Michael and Angie Hawkins

This campaign is for Michael and his wife Angie. They are a loving family that is dealing with something that I and most of us can't begin to comprehend. Angie was diagnosed with colon/rectal cancer that has recently spread to her lungs. The prognosis is dire and she has been given less than nine months to be with her family. Currently hospice is in their home daily and they make many regular doctor visits for continued testing.
Angie and Michael have a family of 4 children and 7 grandchildren that they care for and love so very much. The family has had and continues to build many medical and travel expense burdens.
Michael has been an exceptional example of strength and support for his family. He continues to come to work and refuses to take time off, always doing what he can to provide for his wife and family. The purpose of this campaign is to support them in this time of need. To be able to create an opportunity for Michael to take some time away from work just to spend time with his wife and family before it’s no longer a possibility.
I realize that we all have struggles in our lives, but I couldn't imagine the pain that this family is feeling. Please consider helping support this them with a donation not only for medical expenses, but to give Michael an opportunity to step away from work and allow them to spend time together as a family.
