Michael Ashwell

Hi, my name is Colleen Nguyen, and I am fundraising for my significant other Michael Ashwell. Mike is currently in Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fl for a 7 cm (about 3 inches) bacterial abscess on his spine. He was experiencing severe back pain which he thought was due to pulling a back muscle while at work. However, the back pain got increasingly worst with a high fever. He went to the emergency room at Cape Canaveral Hospital, and the doctors and nurses informed him that this was very serious and that he could end up paralyzed. He was then transferred to Holmes Regional to be close to the Neuro Surgeons in case he needs emergency surgery should his neurological status declines further. His current treatment plan calls for an extensive 6-week course of a very strong IV antibiotic regimen. Unfortunately, this leaves Mike unable to work and pay his monthly expenses due to this unexpected illness. Please with me, keep him in your prayers that the antibiotics take effect and do their job and get him back up on his feet strong and healthy again. Help me alleviate his stress and worry so that he has a clean and comfortable home to return to once he can leave the hospital. Please donate to help us with his monthly expenses!
