Prevent Michael Rudzki from Being Evicted

This fundraiser is to help prevent Michael Rudzki from being evicted.

In March he was fired from his job after being a loyal employee for over 28 years. His former employer terminated him in such a way that they ensured the ability to deny unemployment pay. Since then Mike has put in numerous job applications, gone to several interviews, yet still hasn’t been able to find work. At 55, it’s hard to find new employment.

As a result he is now behind on rent and has received a notice to pay $1400 by 6/22 or he will face eviction proceedings from the home he has lived in for nearly two decades.

While all this has been going on, Mike’s mom, Nancy, acquired a septic infection, went into cardiac arrest, and is now on a ventilator in the ICU.

We are really struggling to find the physical, mental, and emotional capacity right now to prevent his eviction while also tending to these family matters, so if there’s anything you’re able to contribute it would make a huge difference. We want to get him through this difficult time so he can resume his job search.
