Michael Banis

We mourn the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and dear friend Michael Banis. He died peacefully in his sleep after a 4-year battle with cancer. We will always remember him for the joy he brought to each of us, the happiness and kindness he never failed to display, and for the revelry for which he was known. He will always be missed across the world, from Astoria to his little town of Dafia in Greece. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in memory of Michael Banis. Donations will go towards a fund that will be used for the betterment of his hometown of Dafia and funeral expenses.

Θρηνούμε τον θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας συζύγου, πατέρα, υιού, αδελφού και φίλου Μιχάλη Μπάνη. Πέθανε ήσυχος στον ύπνο του ύστερα από τέσσερα χρόνια μάχης με τον καρκίνο. Θα τον θυμόμαστε παντοτινά για την χαρά που έφερνε στον καθένα μας, για την ευτυχία και την καλοσύνη που δεν δίσταζε ποτέ να προσφέρει. Θα μας λείψει από την Αστόρια μέχρι το μικρό του χωριό στα Δάφια στην Ελλάδα. Αντί στεφάνων, μπορείτε να κάνετε δωρεά στην μνήμη του Μιχάλη Μπάνη. Οι δωρεές θα διατεθούν σε ταμείο που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί για τη βελτίωση του χωριού του, καθώς και για τα έξοδα της κηδείας.
