Quadriplegic Mike needs a FES Bike

On New Year's Eve night Michael Cheeseman's life changed forever. As we were ringing in 2018 with friends and family, Michael was being pulled out of the ocean after an innocent evening swim ended tragically. He shattered his C5 vertebrae and is now a quadriplegic. The injury was complete and catastrophic and he is left with limited movement in his arms and has no movement from the chest down.
This vibrant young 16 year old boy is now in the fight of his life to regain as much mobility and independence as possible. Michael's doctors and therapists have both recommended that he have an in-home therapy system to help him achieve his goals. The price of the FES therapy bike is not covered by insurance and will cost upwards of $30,000.
The FES Bike will help keep his muscles moving and give him the hope and strength to push forward in his recovery.
