Michael Conde Jaw Cancer Fund

 This is my friend Mike. I have known him for almost 20 years. Mike and I have been through the highest and lowest times in our lives together and he is family to me. I love him very much as does his parents and all those in his life. I'm not going to mince words here. Mike is in serious need of all of us chipping in to help. Mike has stage 4 jaw cancer. He just championed through an 18 hour surgery to have part of his jaw and some lymph nodes removed and has just begun, as we speak, an additional unanticipated surgery just 1 day later.  Once this part is over, Mike will begin an intensive few months of radiation and other treatments to fight this disease. Don't let his fabulous post-op appearance fool you (he really looks way better than expected thanks to his amazing team of stellar surgeons and medical staff).  Mike will not be able to work, pay his rent or the necessities of life, and will have a very hard time covering those medical expenses that are not already covered in his insurance. This is why I am reaching out to each and everyone of you, and your networks, your family, and your friends. This truly is what life is about. To be present for those we love when they are most in need. They say that one of the hardest things to do in life is to ask for help. I am being very direct here. WE-NEED-YOUR-HELP. The first thing that we want is for Mike to focus on healing and becoming whole again. It is going to be the biggest fight of his life and we want him to worry about this only. The last thing we want is for him to worry about where he will live, whether he will eat, how he will pay his bills and how he will get around. If any of us were in this position and had limited resources to pull from, we'd all need someone to come champion for us. You may or may not know Mike, but you know me, his family, and/or his feiends. If you can't do it for him then please do it for me and for his mom and dad and for those who love him. Please help Mike with whatever you can give. The bills are going to be astronomical and we want all of us to show what humanity can look like in a world that is so upside down right now. Please help in any way you can. Please give generously and spread the word because, quite frankly that's what we need.
