Michael Cushing

Mike was diagnosed with a brain tumor three weeks ago. He was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for a biopsy, and is awaiting the results.  At this time, he has been placed on IV steroids to assist with swelling. He has limited use of his left arm and leg. He will soon be going to a rehab facility to regain his strength  and then begin chemo treatments.

For those of you who know Mike, you know that he began his career as an EMT in 1978, then in 1986 he became a paramedic and began working for Wishard Hospital Ambulance Service (now Indianapolis EMS). Mike currently is working as a Paramedic at IU Health Methodist Hospital in the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center.

He will be off work for several weeks/months and we would like to be able to help him out. Please donate if you are able, if not please keep him and his sons in your prayers.
