Michael Dixon JR. Fight Against Leukemia
On February 25, 2021, it was confirmed and my son was diagnosed with B cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. My whole world shattered. I stayed in the hospital with my son as he began treatment and chemo. Trying to focus on my son was hard because reality still sat in the back of my mind and wondering how I was gonna be able to financially care for my other kids and my sick son. I kept asking myself how am I going to continue to take care of them and sit here in this hospital next to my son who needs me most . I was broken financially, mentally, and emotionally. I decided to set this Go fund me up to help me and my kids get by financially Due to the fact that the doctor said I will be unable to work because my son needs 24 hour care for at least 12 months or until he can Build his immune system back up and is able to be around others without the worry of getting sick and of course depending on how treatments work. I definitely understand this has been a difficult year for several people so if you are unable to donate, a small prayer holds just as much value as the dollar sign and that would mean so much to my son and me.
