Michael Doyle- Glioblastoma Diagnosis

10/1/2022: I want to thank everyone for their generosity and for donating and praying for our family. Between this fundraiser and some outside fundraising, we were able to pay for Michael’s funeral in full along with a headstone that our family will be proud to display. I turned off donations for this fundraiser, but chose to leave the Go Fund Me page up for a little while in case anyone comes to read Michael’s story or look for updates. Thank you so much again from the family of Michael Doyle. 

Michael Robert Doyle (age 30) went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at home after his short battle with a Glioblastoma brain tumor. Michael’s family was able to raise money through Go Fund Me and separate fund raisers to pay for his funeral costs in full. Michael’s family will continue accepting Go Fund Me donations to pay for a headstone for Michael’s final resting place.

Michael’s story is below: 

At 30 years old, Michael Doyle was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma. The initial care plan included aggressive and simultaneous chemotherapy and radiation. After complications caused by an infection, consultations from many doctors, and a difficult conversation between family, Michael’s new plan became coming home on hospice care. Michael was given a short prognosis, but we knew that he would be happiest surrounded by those that love him at home. Michael and his family were able to spend eight of the best weeks together in love and support.
