Help For Michael Affected By Maui Fire
Donation protected
On Tuesday, August 8th our dear family member Michael Crabtree, lost everything in the devastating wildfire that swept through Lahaina in West Maui (the photo is what is left of his home). While we are overjoyed he is safe and healthy, he lost his home, animals, and everything he had. The process to grieve, rebuild and heal from this tragedy will be a long road. We are hoping to raise enough money to help secure a place to stay, necessities, and help relieve some stress from immediate financial burden. Michael (and extended family) have lived in Maui over 40 years! The island has been his home his entire life, and he truly is a part of the vibrant community. Michael is one of those people who takes care of everyone else first, and always finds a glimmer of light in the darkest places. When we ask him what he needs he says "I feel blessed to live in paradise, have food, and a family that loves me." Any amount no matter how small will go a long way in helping Michael and the the people of Maui rebuild their beloved home island.
If you are looking for a way to help the victims of the Maui fires, please consider donating to a GoFundMe that will go directly to the person affected. We will post updates when we can!
