Michael Gillingham's Recovery and Care Fund

Hi! My name is Nanci Moes and I'm raising funds for Michael Gillingham. Michael is my friend Kristy Duncan's son.

Michael (22 years old) is an active duty MARINE and was in a motocross accident on Saturday, August 13th, 2022.

He was immediately taken to UCDavis Medical Center and had surgery. Michael is currently paralyzed from the waist down. His spine is fused from T-3 to T-8 and part of T-5 and 6 were removed. Michael grew up in EL DORADO COUNTY. He comes from a family that SERVES our small community AND our country. His mom, KristyDuncan, is a L&D nurse, and his step-dad, Derek Duncan is a Fire Captain and on the SWAT team in El Dorado County. Michael's dad, Nick Gillingham also served in the Marine Corps.

Michael is married to Taylor and they have a 3-year-old daughter. ♥️

Michael and his family have significant challenges to overcome, which will be a long and expensive road to healing!

We are asking for help for medical bills, physical therapy, the equipment he might need, and support for his young family.

Most importantly, we are asking for PRAYERS!

We are asking for a MIRACLE!!

Please pray that Michael is able to gain movement in his lower half of his body.
