Our friend, Mike, is a friend to all and someone who only deserves the best. He is someone who is private with his struggles, but never forgets to bring gifts for his friends’ kids on Christmas. Someone who, even when you know him, you may not really know how much he’s going through because he is trying to stay positive for everybody else. Over a lifetime, most people do not endure life or death health struggles such as battling liver and kidney failure, much less being hit with one after another as Mike has. Finally, after overcoming and enduring the associated physical and psychological challenges of cancer, along with daily dialysis treatments for well over a decade, nonstop doctors visits and hospital stays, and surgeries, not to mention all of the emotional highs and lows that accompany that, we want to celebrate a successful double organ transplant. And while this is certainly something to be thankful for, there is still a long road to recovery for Mike. We are asking all of our friends, family members, and your friends and family to help support our friend to not have to worry about the small things. We thank you for your consideration, your donation, and please do let Mike know you’re thinking about him.

We have also organized a live fundraising event, as Trinity Junction will perform on Thursday, November 10th, at Mad for Chicken, located at 1050 Flower Mound Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028, starting at 6:30 pm. We look forward to seeing everyone who can make it out.
