Michael served as a  Navy corman with the department of the Marine Corps division spending time in Iraq. Mike loved to share his stories of his time there especially his experience with camel spiders.  Mike's love for his country and caring for others was evident. He worked as an ER tech at Northwestern Medicine Emergency Center in Grayslake taking care of his patients and enjoying his environment with his co-workers. He was a kind, gentle soul that wanted to enjoy life and ensure those around him were doing the same.  He leaves behind a grieving wife, family and friends that can't imagine their future without him and his quirky, fun ways. The smile on his face that was always beaming and brought so many joy will forever be captured in memory.  

He was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly and we want to give Michael the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the unanticipated costs of Michael's funeral expenses.
