Michael Heaton Memorial Plaque and Scholarship

The friends, family and fans of Michael Heaton are creating a permanent memorial in Michael's memory and doing so in a way we feel Michael would approve of.

On August 29th, 2021 at 1:00 PM, downtown Batavia at the Peg Bond Center, please join us for:

• Dedication of a Permanent Plaque highlighting Michael's life, music and philanthropy.
• A two-hour Live Concert featuring Michael's former band-mates through the years covering all of Michael's great songs.
• Announcement of an on-going Michael Heaton Musical Scholarship awarded annually to a local student providing them with a new guitar and a year of guitar and songwriting lessons.

Michael’s memory shall live on through his music and the lives of the people he touched. He truly led a “Big Life”. Honor Michael’s memory by finding music in everything you do.

Please know that 100% of the funds donated will go directly to the Memorial Plaque and Annual Scholarship, which will be managed on an ongoing basis by the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence. (BFEE)
