Michael Henry Love III's Final Goodbye

It is with a heavy heart that I write this: the Love and Glover family is humbly asking for your support to help send our dearest Michael Henry Love lll, aka Little Michael, off to his final resting place and to help his parents cover the cost incurred from this senseless tragedy.
On Friday, July 3rd, 2020 around 11:30 p.m. PDT, Little Michael was finishing up a game of basketball with friends and getting ready to head home when a car drove by and shot several times towards the court. He and another man were struck by bullets that caused serious life threatening injuries to the man and that ultimately took the life of our dear Little Michael. There is still an ongoing investigation into this case so we are unclear at this time what form of justice will be served. All we are left with is the unspeakable amount of pain caused by this tragic incident and that, due to further hard times brought on by this pandemic, his parents have incurred the additional burden of having to arrange Little Michael’s homegoing services.
Little Michael was just 22 years old and figuring life out. He had an infectious smile, a goofy laugh, he had the most loving relationship with his siblings and was an overall sweet spirited person. Since he was little he had a knack for cooking and had thoughts of going to culinary school one day. Now, having fallen victim to gun violence, he will never be able to see those dreams come to fruition. Gun homicides in the U.S. are 25% higher than that of other countries and Black Americans represent the majority of these victims. Overall, 58% of Americans have experienced gun violence in their lifetime. We pray you or anyone you love never has to experience the life-altering reality of this statistic.
With the blessing of Little Michael’s dad, Michael Love Jr., and mom, Coretha Glover (aka Sugar) this GoFundMe will be used to help ease the burden of hospital and funeral expenses as we say our final goodbyes to Little Michael — our brother, our cousin, our nephew, our grandson, our friend, our loved one, our child.
