Michael Holowicki's Celebration of Life

My name is Rachel Holowicki-Ozog and I am fundraising for end of life, celebration of life, and legal expenses for my father, Michael Holowicki.

My dad passed away on December 9th, 2023 after fighting complications of a heart attack for several weeks. My dad had triple bypass surgery and subsequently a stroke, leading to brain damage. His health continued to decline rapidly and he suffered sepsis, pneumonia, MRSA, multiple organ failure, and other complications. My family and I were by his side daily and I traveled home to Chicago from California to be with him in his final weeks.

My dad was an incredibly hard worker and proud person. It's very difficult to ask for financial assistance, but the unexpected costs continue to increase and we want to ensure we can give my dad the proper memorial he deserves as well as cover all of the expenses related to his passing.

We are humbly requesting assistance to cover the end of life costs including cremation, a celebration of life including live music for family and friends, and legal expenses to settle his estate. Thank you so much for your generosity, especially during the holiday season.
