Man in Critical Condition After Struck by Car

Michael Hoover is a very kind person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He is always there to help friends and family and now it is he who is needing help.

Yesterday, 6/2/23, Michael was hit on his bike while crossing 41 in the rain. He is stable at this point but is in the ICU as he sustained multiple critical injuries. The list includes a broken jaw, broken neck, broken back, broken pubic bone, both legs are broken, a broken knee, multiple broken facial bones and multiple lacerations to the face. He did have a small brain shift and brain bleed but at this time the doctors believe the bleed has stopped. He is sedated with a breathing tube. He can’t have any visitors or phone calls at this time. This will be a very long road to recovery. Thank you all for the outpour of love and support. Keep the prayers and good vibes coming as he sure could use them. Also, please pray for the woman who hit him as this was an accident and Mike would want that. I can’t imagine how she is feeling at this time.
