Support Michael's Recovery

On March 7th, 2019 Michael J. Bingham took a serious fall from a 15 foot ladder in his home. This fall resulted in an ambulance and life flight helicopter ride followed by 12 days in the intensive care unit. Michael's injuries include a subdural hematoma with a skull fracture, and multiple traumas including a fractured neck and back.
We are confident Michael's positive attitude will help him heal, and keep the rest of us laughing at his jokes and smiling at his thoughtful insights. We have cheered him on as we've watched him take a few steps, draw again, and smile without a mouth full of tubes. These small victories are just the start to a long road of recovery ahead. Once discharged from the hospital, he will face at least 3 weeks of inpatient rehab followed by 3 months of healing at home. His wife Suzanne is taking a leave of absence from work for 12 weeks or more to be by Michael's side and care for him in his recovery.
Michael is a fixture in the art community and has spent the last 3 years devoting his time and energy to starting and growing the Jump the Moon Foundation, an art studio for people with "diverse-abilities" (disabilities) to access various accommodations needed to express their creativity. Michael values creativity and imagination like no one else, he does not hesitate to chase after his dreams, and those dreams are most often for the benefit of others. Let's do for Michael what he has done for so many.
The Bingham family has been overwhelmed by the collective support and prayers from friends near and far. They thank you and consider themselves so fortunate to feel this outpouring of love and compassion.
All funds raised will be used towards medical costs, costs of living during this time of healing, and Mountain Dew.
