Michael Joseph Lunt

I have thought long and hard about doing this and have only had words of encouragement from everyone around me.

So, I'm doing this to hopefully bring justice and to try and prevent this happening to anyone else.

Due to the sensitive nature of this and an ongoing investigation, I can and will only at this point, mention that Michael was suffering with his mental health, but his death could have been avoided, if he had been given the correct care that he needed.

He had only just turned 40 and had his whole life ahead of him and he has sadly left his young daughter without a dad.

Michael was a very popular and well-liked person and did a lot of charity work himself, so what I'm hoping to do today is to try and not only help contribute towards men's mental health groups. We have chosen Sean's Place, which is based in Liverpool and very well know and helped a lot of people.

I would like to raise more awareness about Men's mental health as usually they suffer in silence, to also help with unexpected funeral costs and to try and start a trust fund for his daughter who is still very young and to help with what will possibly be a long legal battle ahead, adding more stress pressure and financial worries on his loved ones.

None of this will ever bring back his daughter's dad, our brother or son, but it will help to try and find some peace along the way and not for all of this to be in vain.
