Hi Everyone,

I wanted to create a GoFundMe for my Uncle Mike, to help support in anyway I can... he hashad a rough few weeks and has a long recovery ahead of him where he be out of work. He has 4 kids, Kendra, Emma, Ava and Luke and I know he wants to do everything he can for them. If anyone knows my Uncle Mike - you know he will do anything he can for them and the community... working both his jobs and volunteering on the fire department!

Not everyone may know this, my uncle doesn’t like sharing his personal business like this... in the past few months, he has been in and out of the hospital. On February 20th, my uncle went to the hospital for complications with his Diverticulitis. He then went into emergency surgery that night.. which removed part of his intestines. After the surgery, they had him on a ventilation tube amongst others. Since he had the breathing tube down his throat and it was uncomfortable - they had him heavily sedated throughout that period. Sunday night, February 22nd - I got a call at 2am that he went into Cardiac Arrest.

I rushed to the hospital and they were able tobring him back with compressions.

My uncle pulled through, and we are SO thankful. A few days later, we found out his creative level was at a 6.3 making him in need of dialysis. The cardiac arrest led to his kidneys failing - he had his first dialysis treatment this week. 

He should be released from the hospital soon- but I know he’s been out of work for the past 3 weeks & he needs recovery time as well. 

If anyone can help out, I know he will definitely appreciate it. I know any little bit will help him ❤️❤️
